Reliable Sunda food located very strategically in Dago area. It has always crowded since the mid 1990s. They have the basic and yet wide selection of Sunda food; and a wide variety of juices. Service is pretty good and fast and waiters can be asked to tweak the dishes a bit (longer waiting time) for dietary reasons

Pepes Oncom and Sayur Asem tasted too sweet, out of our expectation of Sundanese cuisines. However, Tahu Goreng with Sambal was fine and Gepuk Goreng was good. Nasi Tutug Oncom and Nasi Merah were not bad. The ambience was relaxing, while the waitstaffs were helpful and polite. The price were relatively reasonable for tourists.

I surely coming back for Gurame goreng, sambal, karedok, sayur kangkung belacan, pepes and all. Although, the sayur asam is too sweet for my sumatran tongue. I saw my colleagues also didn't fancy that. We didn't finish it. I wonder if the staff notice that.

Always like the Sundanese food. This place is one of the many places serving it. We had the “nasi timbel komplit” or the rolled rice in banana leaves served with some salad, fried chicken, tofu, “tempeh” or soya bean cake, and a little piece of salted fish. Just delicious. We also shared a Sundanese salad or “karedok” to go with it. Perfect. All for IDR115K or SGD11.

it’s so dry in almost every food that we ordered. We ordered tomyam but it tasted so weird. Will definitely not come again in future.

One of the best Sundanese restaurants in the city. Tasty foods, good services, spacious parking lot, and cozy place. One thing to notice is here is no smoking room, so be prepared to eating while “inhale” some smoke.
