Had a very bad experience in this hotel, the room is VERY DIRTY and DUSTY, the water smells very bad, I can't even use the warm water. I don't think they have washed the pillow or the blanket cause my skin gets very itchy after sleeping here.

Smell durian, carpet tile uneven and unglued properly, hot water gone in a minute, bed seems not clean and lot of spot, outside view not bad, parking free, building is unique, but terrace were leaking everywhere but not influance the inside, need refurbishment to make them good again

we booked a room for 3 nights, first of all the hotel is very unique, the staffs are also kind BUT unfortunately in the first day we got a room that wasn’t very good, a bit smelly and there was few cockroaches, disgusting????
we called the FO back then huge thanks she asked us to move to another room (which is better). i guess the management should maintain the room u0026 the housekeeper as often as possible. i’m not going to stay in this hotel anymore. thanks, no offense because this is based on our own bad experience.

Suitable for budget traveler. Impressive on the outside but a room to improve.
Smoke smell of non-smoking room put me asking to move to other room, leak AC, and few unworking lamp make it the room not bright enough. 7/10.

So dissapointed with this hotel. Yesterday was my second times at chara. The first time was arround 2yrs ago and it was a pleasant stay. But , yesterday was a dissapointment. I was stayed in junior suite, the room was so old and dusty. Some of the toilet feature did not work properly. Then the worst part is, i found a small life cockroach on my bed. It was terrible.. food was alright, staffs were okay..

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL

On the 7 - 8th of September, me and my family wanted to have a staycation at Bandung. So I googled for some unique hotels to stay and this hotel pops up.

Long story short, we (me, my husband, my 10 month daughter, and both of my parents) decided to stay there in the superior deluxe room -2 queen beds.

Bad first impression upon arrival, the room is quite dirty with clear stains on the carpet floor, but it was expected due to its price.

The problem started when we went to bed and my husband started to become itchy along his neck and arms. I also started to itch a little. But we didn't think too much of it at that moment and went back to bed.

At 3 am, I woke up to the surprise that my husband was sleeping on the chair. It turns out that the itching becomes worse and small bumps has appeared along his arms.

My mom also woke up at that time, and turns out that she got the same itching problem as my husband. My husband then continue to sleep on the chair because he felt that the itching stops when he slept there. While my mom continues to sleep on the bed.

The next day, after checking out, i complained to the front office regarding the problem and they only apologize for the inconveniences caused but they didn't look sincere while apologizing.

They also PROMISED to take my complaint to the management and the promise to call me on monday.

But the fact is, they never called me untill this very moment.

But the story doesn't stop here. Turns out the itching that i felt the other night was the start of something worse.

After I went home and went back to Jakarta, my itching started to get worse and red bug bites appeared on my arms and legs.

I eventually went to the dermatologist, and the doctor has diagnosed me with a severe allergic reaction to bed bugs bite. I then had to receive a quite expensive medication to treat this allergic reaction.

I am immensely disappointed with the degree of sanitation and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I have been to similar or even lower rate hotels, but i never had this kind of horrible experience happened to me and my family.

On thing is for certain: I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT FROM THE WORST HOTEL EVER.
