Well, I would say this is the worst one from all my experience staying in 4 stars hotel. We stayed 5d4n. Not even a single day we were happy staying here.
This hotel was in my bucket list since 2012. This year I got a chance to go to Lampung with family so I chose this hotel right away.
When we arrived at the hotel, the security just stood still, not even greeting, not opening the car's door until my husband get off the car and told him to call the bell boy. What a late respon from 4 stars hotel security. Did the management train him right?
The lobby area wasn't really wide. There was no communal area where you can sit freely. Just seating area near the bar and restaurant. There was outdoor area too but that was part of restaurant. No playground for children, no grass field fot kids roaming around. How dissappointed for such big hotel.
We got room 1115 with beautiful ocean and mountain view and secret room since we asked the edge room. This is the only thing that I give 5 stars from this hotel.
The in room mini fridge didn't work, not cold at all. Such a problem for moms who need to store and cook baby food. If you need to refrigerate baby food you should ask kitchen staff. Going up and down was the real problem, it was tiring.
Amenities were just simple. Mirror was only in bathroom. No clothing line for drying wet swimsuit.
The service in this hotel was totally awful.
The next day, I went around the city until almost evening, my room hadn't been tidied up though we had already turned on the housekeeping sign. I need to call first then it was tidied up.
While waiting, we went to the restaurant. We just wanted a drink. After I ordered only one item of drink, the waiter showed us unpleasant face. The waitress who delivered my drink also did the same thing when I said I didn't want to order some food.
Breakfast was nothing special but the choices of food varied.
The front staff of restaurant asked us for paying extra bill since we brought our oldest son to have breakfast too. At first my husband said to her, he had deposited money for extra breakfast in receptionist, but she insisted to pay there. She called receptionist but none answered so she told us to go back to our room until she got answer, and told us to go back again to the restaurant. LOL, why did she want to make us going up and down? no way. I told her I waited there to finish it. In the end, she gave up and let us go.
Funny thing, the next day, she did that again, told us to pay the bill there. So my husband said okay and asked the total since the first day. Instead of charging my son, she charged my husband so we protested.
The last day, a waitress took my baby foodmaker when taking dirty dishes from our table. Duude...
Will I go back? Nope, once is enough. This hotel is not baby friendly, not stoller/wheelchair friendly. Even the access to the swimming pool is only ladders. Nice for honeymooners, but not for us. Bye.
