Haur Gading Resto specialized in Seafood Bbq... Interm of Sauce and recipe it is typical Indonesian Seafood Joint, but what makes them a local favorite is their consistency in providing high quality (for it's price range) Shrimp, Squid and various of Fish Cuts, Their Sambal choices is also good. A must try for tourist coming to Balikpapan City. The Place is a bit Dirty, understandable since it is Located inside a Huge Wet Market. parking is.. well all over the market.

Was attracted here because of the smell of the grilled fish, it so aromatic so it attracted many visitor. The atmosphere there is not so good because of the hot caused by the grilled fish, but it was okay for kind people like me, so i think it is worth it. I have tried the "Pepes Patin" which is a fish that wrapped with turmeric and some vegetables then covered with bananas leaf. The Pepes Patin then grilled, and voila the taste is incredible, complete with the uncooked chillies. The uncooked cchillies with special recipes add special taste to the Pepes Patin. I enjoyed a lot the Pepes Patin. Also if you want to come, there many others kind of Fish you should try. The price is a bit expensive, but medium for people in Balikpapan.

the place quite hiding behind the market but needed to be upgraded for the better and comfortable site ..

a traditional Banjar restaurant, serving grilled specialties, such as grilled fish and grilled chicken. delicious!

The grilled Trakulu fish head was really good. The place is a bit hot and crowded, but being able to enjoy fresh seafood dish is no sweat.

The price too expensive just for the common taste.
The taste was okay but it’s not delicious, and the place is bad, it’s not clean.
I think the good thing is just unlimited rice if you want to refill.
And it located inside traditional market which is little bit hard too find.
So, I believe I’ll never come back again ????????
