Nothing's special about this place, just a monument. And sadly, this place has a bad maintenance. It's nearby the beach, and the beach was full of garbage

Short for Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat, portrait of the struggle of the poeple of Balikpapan. Conveniently located at Jl. Jend. Sudirman, makes this landmark alive in the afternoon, group of outdoor activities can be done here. There's a beach too.

Nice place for memorial and beach for tourisme. Need more maintenance and attractive environtment.

Monument of people's struggles. I was often clean this place when I in elementary school
because this is my school program to teach the student to respect for this monument
