Good and friendly front desk staff, so I can enjoy welcome drink before I leave.
Many kind choice breakfast. Clean and comfort twin room. Vast parking area.
Value the money.

As usually my experience at Ibis is so nice, same as this time, I enjoy my stayed at Ibis Balikpapan, the staff welcoming proper, and the room and bed all good, but unfortunate I got not so nice Room, the AC at my room not running so well.

This hotel is far from my expectation.
I do know about 3-star hotel, but this hotel is not recommended for those who look for good stay.
I would suggest you to find another hotels.

I was staying there for a few times for quarantine purpose prior a certain job.

Room : room is clean but laundry service quite slow. They return around 5 or 6 pm. Lack of initiative, you need to ask for a clean towel since no daily room service for quarantine purpose.

Food : the taste quite okay actually however everyday is "santan and gorengan, sambal", imagine yourself being quarantine for 5 days, eating santan and gorengan sambal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cholesterol will hit for sure. Try to be more creative.

Service : I was in quarantine , I suppose to meet less people however there was a time when they don't have that chair or table placed in front my room , so everyone they need to deliver food or water, they need to knock my door and handover everything directly to me. Sometime they don't use mask as well. Respond to each request not so fast as well.

Overall comfortable room , food taste good but the menu is not so good for your health, and service just medium.

My nephew likes to stay here, because she likes to see Lion Air stewardesses. Once she asked her uncle to marry one of them but he said: No, your aunt is the only one, now and forever hehehe

It has a 3 star rating but gives a good value for money with a reasonable breakfast. I have stayed many times over the years and has shared access to the swimming pool and gym in Novotel.

Location is very good, service is quite good even though i had to wait very long to check in, and the wifi is very slow
