Hotel NEO+ Balikpapan

Booked for 8 nights for emergency stay and regretted it from day one.
1. When I asked for double bed, they downgraded my room from Space to Orion (which is smaller and I assumed cheaper) without prior confirmation if I agree. Because of this confusion, I wasted the whole morning to repack, move from one room to another to finally move back to my original room. The other room they offered is also damp and dirty. Due to this issue, I was late to my meeting and got very angry. Receptionist said management will come with an apology, nobody came, no apology.
2. Throughout the whole stay, their staffs are not friendly at all, as if they’re working there against their will.
3. Housekeepers did terrible jobs. They left the room half finished (leaving trash, dirty surface, and one time dirty sheet on the top of my pile of fresh clothes)
4. Horrible drive way at the lobby
5. They changed their rules based on the direction of the wind or mercury retrograde may be—because one day someone offered to bring my food to the room, another day they wont bring it because it against their rules (???)

Avoid this place at all cost. Plenty of better option for the same price.

The staff at Hotel Neo+ Balikpapan are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and well serviced. The breakfast menu is absolutely amazing, the most delicious breakfast anywhere in Balikpapan, I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Balikpapan. Thank you Hotel Neo+ ❤️

Nice hotel as expected from Aston Group, however the dining place is too small (I had a breakfast on lobby sofa) and the 7th floor is NOT that non-smoking: the smoke from the outdoor terrace cafe seeps into the corridor.

The room, are good, the food are good, and the receptionist, Mrs anggi are very helpful

Good hotel with proper accomodities, near to shopping district with a lot of public transport.
The hotel vibe is better than the previous one i had in semarang, but still the entrance and parking lot is absurdly inconvenient.
Please tell your guards to stand by always near the main entrance, is a bit inappropriate with no guards in the entrance.

Been to this place couples of times now for some ceremony, family gathering u0026 dinner functions either at ground floor restaurant, roof top or multi-purpose rooms at floor 7u00268.
Still interested to share my feedback more again after staying some night in this hotel rooms.
