For the monkeys themselves. They are a little too old, I mean by old, they have black things on the statue or I could be wrong. The flowers, they are pretty, but if you already live on this area around that statue. They will be dull and they are lack of variation at the same time, because the pattern that they use on the bushes and flowers are and will be the same. There are too many vehicles there, it can be a spot for a walk but hard to navigate because the side road here is hard to use. Grasses are growing like the grass on the football field, the tiles are displaced and have a lot of curve (Tree's root that grows underneath it).

Somehow they manage to make this a landmark, an icon for Balikpapan Baru property complex.
But this junction has grown more and more crowded every year, therefore it might require some upgrade on road width and traffic flow management. Lets wish none of the monkeys will run away due to intensifying stress keeping their fountain sate ^_^

A nice for sight seeing only, in the middle of traffic intersection its very danger to visit. The fountain has been stop since long time a go.

Used to be a toucan statues in early 2000s. Be extra careful with the traffic here especially if you want to enter Pesona Mediterania housing complex from Boulevard Raya street (in short, in front of Pesona Country housing complex's street).

A monkey statue at roundabout at Balikpapan Baru Housing Complex. It's not a tourism object nor a special monument.

You can’t go to there now. But when i was a child and i can go to there easily anytime i want to go there

It' just a junction in Balikpapan Baru housing complex. There's nothing special about it. Except alot of monkey statues.
