Eat before 7pm, or make a booking/reservation.... Laota is popular with locals.
Big venue can accommodate large groups or small party. Not enough menus, or staff are to busy to give a menu, or there is a system and menus can only be given by allocated staff. Ordered a bockchoi is oyster sauce.... only 1 dish, and it took 15 minutes to arrive.... boiled vegetables with sauce! ????u200d♂️
Judging by the locals ordering, the porridge dish is popular. Great venue to have fun and conversation, not so much for date or romance. Arrive before 7 or queue up.

Old legendary chinese cuisine, with speciality in their fish porridge. No need to say more, 6 out of 5 stars for their deliciousness. And the fast service u0026 friendly waitress makes it even 7 stars to give.

I know some of us might say, "Why eat porridge when in Bali?" But believe me, this one worth the try ????????

Oh and one thing, the portion is huge, so you might wanna share with friends.

My first meal in Bali - late dinner after we landed. Just 10 mins from airport. Ordered the seafood porridge u0026 roasted duck. Excellent food. Spacious outlet - but still crowded @ 10pm!! Highly recommended

We get into a full-pack restaurant, even it's not lunch time anymore. But the service from the staff was amazing

The porridge was very good, the roasted chicken and steamed chikcen also amazing. The steamed grouper is the highlight of the dish, it's sweet tasty fish meat, and juicy

Ordered their famous porridge (with cakue), black-pepper beef, and salted egg squid. Overall a very hearty meal. Their porridge is very simple but delicious. Both side dishes were also tasty.

It was crowded as it was dinner time. But didn’t wait that long. They don’t have a parking lot on their own and the place where we parked a few meters after the restaurant charged us 10k IDR.

They serve excellent porridge with various choices available and delicious roast duck as well.
One of the few chinese restaurants that don't provide fried rice.
Always full u0026 crowded, making it a bit hard to get a quick bite or simply find an empty table to sit in, especially during dining hours, but it shows that people know they serve good food here.

the place was good, it was so crowded during public holiday so i gotta wait for 2 people in waiting line. i think they have staff shortage because the food came pretty late, 2 of my orders was not even on the list in the kitchen so we cancelled the orders, the food was good especially the porridge and the roasted duck
