This place provides super tasty and clean food. We can feel that the chef takes care very well of every single dish from the taste to the presentation. The portions are big along with high quality. They have many interesting traditional Vietnamese food and they taste very authentic. We love it so so much! Definitely the best place for Vietnamese food in Bali♥️ don’t miss this place when you visit Seminyak Bali

We were walking from Kuta towards Seminyak just to have a night walk. We came across this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try. Surprised with the amount of good review, we knew we were in for a ride. Surely, the food was one of the highlight of our stay in Bali. Great choices of authentic Vietnamese food served with traditional presentation. Delicious and fresh!

I'm jumping on the bandwagon. This place is reeeealy good. Everything is freshly made. No need for me to repeat other's good comments. Bread is hot and crispy. And we meet mama Hanh, the chef. She's on top of things. The food came out before the juices. Because juices are freshly made, take longer. My son loved the dragon fruit juice.

Awesome place
The food was fantastic and the service was great. They really ask if you have any allergies and the level of spice you can handle. Cause I said the level of spices is different from Europe the gave me 2 different of spicy level. Highly recommend

Do yourself a favor and visit VietNam Bistro. With a fantastic knowledgeable service, the prices were very reasonable. The side dishes were very fresh. Unfortunately the crispy pork is usually sold out, but the pho is a classic dish I would go for. Highly recommend.

UPDATE in response to the owners reply: I did upload a photo of the coffee also, you can find it if you click on latest in the photo section. I'll try to attach it here also. You can clearly see that it looks completely different from the coffee photo that you uploaded a week ago! And you definitely did NOT use 18-20 gram of coffee, it would have filled up the phin at least half and you can clearly see that it's nearly empty. Further I didn't know that I have to specify super strong if I just want a regular Vietnam coffee...
Overall, very poor move from you trying to justify your blatant mistake instead of apologizing!

Just coming back from Vietnam I ran into this place and was excited to try it out. As I wasn't hungry at that moment I just ordered a Vietnamese coffee. When it arrived it looked a bit watery but I thought that might have been because of the added sweet milk. Well, the first sip was immediately confirming that it was watery! When I opened the filter I could see why. While in Vietnam every coffee shop uses 18 grams of coffee for a decent cup they have used not more then 2-3 grams. Attached a picture of the overflow that I stopped getting into my glass. It would have become even more watery

I was shopping at Bintang and spotted this place by chance. I checked the reviews and it is 5star based on 130 reviews. We decided to try for lunch and they DO DESERVE 5 STAR ALL THE WAY.
For starter we ordered the fresh spring roll and rice rolls. They kindly exclude pork from the pork-prawn spring rolls (while other Vietnamese restaurants were immediately says No when we asked this). This way we knew the fresh spring rolls are prepared by order. Not ready made! Both starters were fresh and delish!
For main I ordered their best seller beef pho and Bo Bun (but vegetables version). The Vietnamese manager suggested one dish that I can't remember the name and she says it's cheaper than ordering Bo Bun without the beef. To hear this coming from the manager is surprising. Usually the opposite.
The Pho I had was sooooo GOOD and authentic. The broth is boiling hot as it should be and I can tell that it is cooked for morethan 3 hours, plus with generous size of beef toppings! I am a huge fan of Pho and I know how it should taste! This pho ticks everything in my list!
The flan cake came with coconut cream and a super short but strong shot of coffee. It was divine! The coffee was prepared like how it should be. It was short and super strong, as how Vietnamese coffee should be!

I also noticed the staff and the manager knows many of the guests. The waiter and manager were super friendly and really hospitable to each and every one of the guests. My pho was initially served before one starter dish served. The manager, very lovely lady, kindly brought back the pho and made me a new pho when we finished the starters.

What is more surprising to me, having dined in a lot of restaurants in Bali, the chef (mama hanh) came out and check with us (and other tables) if everything is okay. This is SUPER RARE in Bali. We chatted with her briefly and we knew that it wasn't pretentious.

Other Vietnamese restaurants in Bali now has a serious competent contender!

Vietnamese Bistro deserves morethan 5 stars! Highly highly recomended!
