Good service and nice menu with a range of traditional Bali cuisine and western such as burgers, club sandwich. Located off the street in well ventilated open plan building. It's open from breakfast to late.

I quite rarely score five stars, but here is the thing: this relatively small place is actually a gem that you can easily miss when hanging out in Legian and searching your next meal. It looks smaller than it is, it has to be seriously improved in terms of lights and ambient, and yet: the first time I stopped there was on a very hot day in April 2019, I was starving, and I was expecting nothing but a fairly decent lunch. Huge surprise when my Mango juice arrived, along with my entree, some warm garlic bread. I noticed something unusual enough in Bali and it raised my eyebrows: no sugar added in a genuine fresh pressed mango juice. First good point. By the time I had considered the first discovery, the smell from that kitchen had already increased again my appetite, and wow... that garlic bread was just a wonder, followed by a pesto pasta plate that let me enthusiastic. I forgot the very strong heat that day and my regrets that there were no fans to make it easier - but if this happens to you, do not make the same mistake, there is much fresh here as you progress inside the place, and at night, heat is not an issue. Since then, I regularly revisited Topeng, and I fall in love with the bruschetta (take it from a regular visitor in Nice, on the French Riviera, where this is the very local speciality), and then with an extraordinary pasta a la carbonara. Many people stop by to have a quick look at the menu but will not enter, probably because the place needs this little upgrade to make it more appealing - and I now learned that this is about to happen - and funnily, a few nights ago, I literally packed the place by recommending a try to the walkers... None of them discussed my recommendation after enjoying their meal. The service is a little bit long because this is a small team there, but the tasteful drinks make it easy. A strong "go" for the quality and the savoir-faire of the chef in several different styles, local or not.

Good juice and veggies. Large portion sizes of fresh foods and a great value. Chicken katsu was good chicken just a bit too heavily breaded.

We had the rendang, the chicken satay, and the ramen. They were all amazing. Highly recommend this place. Prices are too good.

Deliciously prepared rendang served with love (and warm). Unlike other 'off-the-shelf' warung concept.

beef rendang is delicious and also the black rice pudding... service good and very friendly
