Plantation Grill is a delicious steakhouse. The ambiance is amazing; there's an opera singer for several minutes at the top of each hour.

The food itself -- amazing! The filet I ordered was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were buttery, creamy, and delicious. The Caesar salad and cheesecake dessert were awesome as well! ☺️????????

This place has a great vibe to it with its early 1900s theme. When you first sit down the waiter offers you a selection of breads along with French and locally produced butter.
We ordered 2 starters, 2 sides and 2 mains for the two of us and it was more than enough food.
The wines are quite pricey, although the cocktails are more reasonable in price.
Service is excellent and they even had a saxophonist entertaining the patrons with some jazz.

Excellent place for a date night. It has nice vibe with really excellent service. Every hour there’s opera singing performance which we enjoyed a lot.

Positive and recommendation: oysters and duck croquettes. Gindara fish is very good

Not up to expectation: the plantation ribeye somehow lacked the punch and it’s the only dish we didn’t finish.

Somehow we feel that the kick starter bites overshadowed some of the mains.

If you ever visit Bali, your trip won't be complete without a visit to the Plantation grill steakhouse in Seminyak. The minute you walk in the door you are instantly transported back to 1920s New York Broadway scene. From the servers black and white shoes, dark wood and ostentatious pillars, Tiffany lamps, art deco tiles, chandeliers and candelabras it's a sight to behold. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and service 5 stars. Obviously a little more expensive than your beach grub but all things considered still very cheap. Wine $12 a glass, entrees $12-16, mains $17-40. My first time here i had the steak tartare and honesty it was magic to my taste buds. Crispy pork belly that made my eyes water and a dessert that i wanted to make love to. The Plantation grill is truly not to be missed. It's the other side of Bali that most tourists never get to experience. I've found my wedding venue, if i get a second chance that is lol. I forgot to mention 3 nights a week they have the most beautiful opera singer doing multiple sets. Breathtaking to say they least.

Great food. Had the T bone, a salad, pork starter thing, baked Alaska. All good. Very pleased they had ciopino on the menu but I had eaten seafood last three meals needed a break. The bottled wine selection was good but I was there alone. They could have more by the glass selection. The bread selection was fun. The decor is all dark wood paneling and nice touches. Two or three salt mills all didn't work. The helpful waitress had to try hard to find one. But she did! It's a common issue with salt mills. You need the right grind mechanism. Upstairs bar closed. Bathrooms clean.

Hidden gem in Bali that not a lot of people know about - means it is not that crowded!
Went here for Christmas dinner and overall experience was amazing. The ambience was classy. The food was great. There was opera singer when we went there and she sang super good!

Appetizers:
Oysters 5/5 - SUPER FRESH
Salmon Pizza 3/5 1 kinda weird taste
Smocked duck salad 4/5 - pretty good noodle salad
San Fransisco Fish Soup 3/5

Entree

Black Truffle Mac and Cheese 5/5 - would be even more awesome if there is an option to add meat / bacon
Large T-Bone 5/5 - super juicy!
Grilled Crispy Pork Belly 5/5 - super damn good sia, crispy skin, nice layer of fat and good sauce.

Dessert
Tiramisu 3/5 - nothing special, i’ve tasted much better tiramisu @ other restaurants
The ultimate chocolate cake 3/5
Bombe alaska 5/5 - some flame attractions, with raspberry ice cream on the inside.

Keep in mind that they have a dress code and prohibit any sandals/thongs/ripped shorts.

Must visit place when in Seminyak. The ambience, the service, the food in this restaurant is incredible. Great for a date night, or birthday/anniversary celebrations. Portion sizes are perfect and the coco mango mojito is without a doubt the best cocktail I have ever drank in my life. I will definitely return here.
