The place is nice and the service good.

The kitchen seem to be the weakest point, given that I ordered a well done burger and received a medium rare.

Expected more flavour for the price paid.

A very nice, welcoming place with really good food! Agree with others that it can be hot inside and the time we went it was pretty quiet.
However, the staff were superb and the food matched.
In Bali everyone is spoilt for choice for a range of food, from dirty burgers and burritos to high end fare. The Butcher has a simple menu, which for me is generally a good thing, but the stand out dishes were from the additional Asia menu.
We had a wonderful mahi-mahi and outstanding chicken curry. The flavours were spot on and ingredients very fresh.
I appreciate places have to cater for the burger lovers amongst us, and those that want to have a steak and lobster (both of which could also have been very good from here), but sometimes that authentic home cooked touch is what's called for and that's exactly what we got.
Highly recommend trying here.

The fish (grilled mahi-mahi) was good. Burger is ok, a bit overpriced. Great service.

This places appears to have permanently closed. Where it was is now a different restaurant. I even asked the neighbors.
