Great experience here. Our Teppanyaki chef Augustina was wonderful. He was engaging and skilled, had top notch dad jokes you come to expect from a Teppanyaki chef, ("butterfly" for flying butter and such) and he nailed our cooking preferences. Truly the highlight of our meal. The food was great but we come to teppanyaki spots for the fun and we were not disappointed. The Director, Ray (owner perhaps?) takes great pride in the restaurant. He introduced himself shortly after we were sat, and then later checked on us to make sure we were happy with our dinner. We enjoyed our visit and would love to come back on our next trip.

Our first time back in Bali post-Covid and our first "must" was Shima on the day of arrival. It did not disappoint. Fantastic food, the cooking, and the produce quality all remain top, top, top. The staff was lovely as always, with smiles and super, super friendly. Yoga did a fantastic job of entertaining us as well as cooking the most delicious food. Lovely to see Ray, the owner, again after all the time that we were not able to come. Highly recommend. We brought my father-in-law who had never been... he has been waxing lyrical all night since we started eating. What higher accolade could you have?

Deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for you in all areas.  Lovely and very clean atmosphere, very friendly and helpful team, impressive selection of fantastic wines and sake and amazing food.
We were allowed to experience a new level of sushi and Japanese cuisine with you, the best sushi we have ever enjoyed.  It was the first time for us to taste and enjoy otoro and himachi, thank you for this enjoyable experience.
The price level is a bit high, but the quality, the preparation and the enjoyment justify the price.

We would love to come back and can only recommend a visit to you.????????????

This was the best Japanese restaurant in bali. The sushi and sashimi was super fresh and absolutely delicious.

I was so impressed that I even came back a few days later and tried the Shabu shabu. Again it was great. We got two different soup base and later order an extra order of vegetables for I think 20,000 idr which was a great value. We wanted to take the soup base home to try with a rice ans was delighted in that they offer to give us fresh soup. Actually I rather have the soup base we cooked the vegetables and meat as the flavor improves with cooking. So I declined but took notice of the attention to details to delight the customers.

The first time I came my brother who was visiting from Thailand insisted that we generously tip the waiter. He is more generous than me but I agree se with the sentiment. Great food and great service should be rewarded.

We were delighted and impressed!! Not once but twice. On my list of best of best bali. Keep up the good work and thank you for a great dining experience

Good dining experience. The staffs are friendly and attentive. Love the chef too, the foods n dessert are great.

Great food, great staffs, great ambience.
Went for dinner, no parking outside the premise but valet service is available to take care of your car. Staffs were great, especially the chef doing the teppanyaki. They were all well-trained, great sense of humor, can really put an entertaining show while cook you a great food. Place could get crowded during dinner time. Everything was nice and clean. Price could get rather pricey tho, but really worth the taste.

Very fun experience, I had the $45 option and my friends both had the $29. Both were equally as delicious and wow was there soooo much food! We ended up taking some home because we couldn’t finish it all! The chef did awesome tricks and kept us entertained all night! The staff are very attentive and friendly and the owner introduced himself ‘ray’ he was very sweet and lovely. Lots of laughs and and all round awesome night!
