Went to Serenity Eco Guesthouse but they ran out of private air-conditioned room so they offered us a room in their branch. For the price, the place is actually pretty good. Clean room and bathroom, mosquito nets, AC works well, safety box. A communal fridge and free water refill was a nice addition. Some little things I don't like was they didn't provide toiletries and there's no night-lamp (but they have candles). Breakfast and other activities are provided in the main hotel, about 500 m away, but we had a motorbike so it wasn't a problem.

Nice place with good vibes but everybody (at least 3/4 People) was super sick while being there (fever, vomitting... Etc). So the hostel might wanna check the water they provide an also the food (I was only sick the Last day, the day I ate there).
Otherwise, this is truly a beautiful place with clean bedrooms and the workshop (reiki, yoga...) are truly amazing.

The place and staff are very nice. Stayed in the shared dorm, comfy beds and showers are ok. Breakfast included is also pretty good. However, try to avoid booking any transfer with the hotel to Gili Islands. Their partner, Ostina 3 speedboats, are absolute trash, they are the worst transfer company by far, we (and many others, just look it up online) had a terrible experience with them travelling to and back to gili T. This is obviously not Serenity's fault, but they should get a better partner.

Serenity is a good hostel/guesthouse but try to stay in serenity 1. The serenity 2 is 500m walk from the other serenity and all its facilities such as yoga and the swimmingpool. Rooms very clean, they clean it every day. Most of the time, staff is present here

Affordable and clean, but toilet/shower is very cramped. Stay in the first Serenity hotel instead of Serenity 2 if you can as it has the pool and nice common areas. You can get a shuttle from the 2nd house to the first one but it's still a hassle.

Be warned. Roosters ALL. DAY. LONG. Not a normal group of roosters, they are certainly sick. You will hear it non-stop, 24/7. Not Serenity’s fault, it’s from the home directly next door. Just know that here, you’re in for a real orchestra. Save yourself the hassle and stay in Serenity 1 or select an alternate nearby location.

Best hostel in Canggu! Just lovely
No aircon in the dorm I am staying - I don’t like aircon and it’s not hot anyway
Roosters are a bit loud but you will get used to it and it’s part of the experience
It’s just a lovely stay
I am here since over a month
