So glad I found this place by accident!
Was looking for authentic Balinese food and there it was in the name of the restaurant - Authentic Balinese and Seafood Grill!
Service staff Mega was friendly, attentive and wonderful - checked on me after every dish and also asked for my opinions. Over heard her immediately reflecting it back to the chef.
Ordered Lumpia Sayur (deep fried vegetables spring roll) and Bebek Goreng Pencar (crispy spiced duck) but was first presented with a surprise - crackers with peanut sauce. As someone who has tasted peanut sauce in Malaysia, India, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand, can I say that the chef’s secret mix of the peanut sauce is heavenly? Went really well with the crackers. In fact, I asked for one more serving!
The crispy spiced duck was something to shout about too. Have to try this! It was crispy on the skin and juicy in the meat. Beats any other “famous” place!

Walked in to this restaurant after passing by. What a great place u0026 the meals were brilliant! We ordered pork rib pan fried prawns with black bean sauce fish u0026 chips steak sandwich u0026 club sandwich. All of which were great. Also the staff were wonderful.

PLEASE DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS RESTAURANT! Even this restaurant is not busy as the others, trust me.. THEY HAVE THE BEST PORK DISHES!! I tried pork belly rice bowl, pork belly sambal matah, pork satay and pork ribs, they were all delicious!! I REALLY LOVE THE PORK SATAY! You guys should try it!

Really enjoyed the lobster dinner for two. Drinks were delicious as well. Not the best seafood I've ever had but was really good and not crazy packed like many other places.

The food here is extremely delicious and way better than jimbaran seafood cafe.

Ordered a platter for 2 and we weren’t disappointed. Enak sekali and the service is tiptop. They serve a hot plate.

Highly recommend.

I would like to thank the very nice staff there I and my family went there as a holiday and we went down the road to find a restaurant and we found this and we went in and we ordered some food I had fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips that I ever had and thank you restaurant owners for serving us thank you so much for the food

Found Pencar on Google and decided to go for dinner. The restaurant looked nice and welcoming from the street and has both indoor (air-conditioning) and outdoor seating. It should be noted thst only two out of four 2hp air-conditioning units were switched on at the time. Which was insufficient to cool the large dinning area which had high ceilings; making the experience at tad warm.

We ordered three seafood platter set for two. Food arrived in good time but the restaurant could do with individual candles on each table as it was too dark to see what we were eating. Seafood was definitely not fresh and when we used our torch to get a clear sight of our meals, we were shocked to find green slime on the prawn. We notified waitress and raised this with the kitchen and apologised for the quality of the food that night. We paid for the drinks and left the premises.Wont be spending our time at Pencar in our visits to Bali in the future!
