Matra was my home for 2 months. I work remotely so I needed a place for staying and work. They treat me like family. I could work everyday with free internet (pretty good speed), they have a cafe with the most delicious food (discount if you are a guest) and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Price for double room 250€/month. Having lunch and coffee around 4€. If you are not a guest this could be your coworking: 400k IDR per one week for 2 devices and budget to spend in food 80 IDR a day with a free coffee. I meet a lot of nice people working there. Such a wonderful place, thank you Ari and team for taking care of us, you are the best, I hope to come back soon

????General nice room for a co-living space.
???? Walking distance to Pranava yoga

???? The room is full of ???? ants...
????Hot water DOESN'T work, especially when in peak shower hours (water is NOT hot and the water pressure is on and off, very difficult to take a proper shower ???? unfortunately)
???? Some of the male receptionists attitude is really bad
???? Nothing around after 8:30pm......

I feel compelled to leave a great review for Matra Coliving because of the exemplary service provided by Kersii. She's a superstar, and definitely one of the reason why I chose this place instead of the many other accommodations available.

The place is clean, but the coworking place is terrible. The AC is not cool, the clocks on the main room doesn't work properly. The food is quite expensive too, but not more expensive than other restaurants in Canggu.

This is a great option for affordable accommodation. The staff are amazing to say the least. The cafe/co-working space upstairs was a real pleasure to be in. Such great value on the menu with plenty of verity and an excellent view.
Room service had the perfect balance between cleanliness and being annoying or wasteful. 24 hr staff at the front desk is a nice touch.

The coffee is one of the best in Bali. All right above my room! Makes waking up for a morning coffee an absolute pleasure.

Very happy with my time spent here. Thank you.

Great location
Fast Wi-Fi
The staff clean room Once in 2 days.
Good room has 1 door fridge in every room. Nonstop hot water. Amazing.
But room doesn't have sound proof.
Clean area.
Small share kitchen. Share between guests and together with all staff.
1 small table and 2 chair.
Noisy staff. Loud voice. Sometimes they are in the kitchen and just laugh and speak loud. They also scream each other from bottom to another level floor.
Just need to be more training how to behave and well manner. Some people working in the room and need quiet sometimes.
Day time only noisy from the staff but night time is quite good.
I like the Gym spot at the corner. Really help.

Stayed for 2 weeks.
+ Really high standards, super comfortable bed, big room and bathroom. Great conditions for a long stay.
+ Amazing cheerful staff, always smiling, willing to help and resolve any issues. And I mean everyone - receptionists, cleaning staff, bartenders and chefs from the co-working. Fabulous group of people.
+ I don't know what these complains about cleaniness are about, my room and its surroundings were spotless, cleaned three times a week, couldn't find a reason to complain.
- The place could really use some events, networking or at least some way of introducing new members to the community. There's none of that and it feels more like a hotel than a co-loving you would expect on Bali, sadly
- Shower was a big tricky, in the mornings especially. 2 minutes waiting for warm water to come and when it did, it was getting so hot it was hard to set the shower to a reasonable temperature ;)
- The rooms could use some hooks to hang wet clothes/towel.

Overall - it's a really nice place and I will seriously consider staying there again if I'm ever in Canggu. Especially if it gets even better ;) Thanks guys!
