Very unique place that you won’t find everyday.

All the food, especially the crabs are top notch ????????. I really love the caramelized, black pepper, and Singapore chili crab.

Bu Fagie, the owner, is very humble and nice too.

This will be my number one destination when I visit Bali.

Mama Chew is the sweetest woman we’ve ever met. Her hospitality is only outshined by her amazing cooking. This has been on of the best experiences of our lives, not to mention the tastiest!! Don’t try picking one style crab-you need to just order them all!!

Amazing authentic food! The chilly crab was amazing along with the shrimp fried rice and this wonderful homemade bread buns to accompany our chilly sauce! Highly recommended if you want fresh non touristy food in the Jimbaran area!
The host-cook was also so polite and sweet can’t wait to visit again!

Loved every bite!!! We ordered 2 Salted Egg Crabs and 2 packs of Bouncy Fish Ball delivered to Jakarta. Ordered received within 24 hours and still frozen. We only had to re-warm the Crabs in Microwave and still tasted as amazing as if we dined in ⭐

Delighted to bump into this place and met with Mama Figie. It all started with random craving for Crab meal, which ended up searching on google and bump into Mama Chew resto that is on the top list of trip advisor recommended place for Crab menu. Without thinking twice me and my family drive off at night trying to get our crabby dinner there. As soon as we reached the area, we thought we were directed to the wrong place by google map, apparently it's not a your typical resto. It's a house with 3 floors, where u get to dine at the rooftop, overseeing the view from the rooftop, which is not that high but there's no tall buildings blocking ur view and u get to enjoy the breeze along with ur meal.

Long story short. We didn't get our crabby dinner, instead we just get to know from our lovely and bubbly Mama Figie that we need to make prior reservation to enjoy the freshly cooked meal. Hence we finally decided to book for our lunch the next day and pre-ordered the dishes that we would love to have for lunch. And true enough we now know why Mama Chew has all the good ratings in tripadvisor.

Even our daughter love everything about this place especially the Crab. It's her 1st time eating crab, while me and my wife was wondering if she'd actually appreciate the food or not, cause frankly speaking yes it is not cheap, and with the price we are paying, of course we have high expectation too. We ordered the Salted egg crab and black pepper crab with some other dishes like the sautee mushroom, the avocado squid and the garlic noodle. Our favourite from the ones that we ordered is the salted egg crab. In fact, that's our daughter's favourite too.

I guess you can judge it from the photos, cause kids expression don't lie, when the food s good, it shows!

We're definitely coming back to try the different crab menus on our next trip here.

Mama Chew was amazing amazing crab! I have been to Singapore and never had any crab like this before. I don’t want to ruin the experience for you but I definitely recommend this place. It’s a husband and wife team and they are the cutest. Very nice down to earth people and they serve you from there lovely home. They bring you all the way to the roof top where you have a 360 view of Bali. Ask them to tell them their story on how they started Mama Chew, it really an inspiration on how they started it all.
