Nice road side chinese style restaurant. Got my first decent strawberry milkshake. Ordered the three meat special. It is very good seasoned. The ribs are a bit tough but full of flavour. The bacon is nice and crispy. Prices are good and a bit mid-range. The meal costs about 8 euro. And the portion is big.

We had high expectations following the positive reviews. The Seafood laksa was great, the murtabak too but I was a bit disappointed in the Duck(leg)... It was dry and dull. Maybe it was an old duck. The restaurant itself is more than ok and service perfect. #makaobali.

More than a dozen times in Bali and can’t believe this is my first time here at Makao!
Glad I googled for nearby restaurants and discovered this.
Very friendly and helpful waiter who suggested that I should go with the Bebek Goreng Suramadu as I’m already familiar with the Peking Duck as a Chinese and I should try something Indonesian instead. Love the spices used and the crispy skin! Even the crackers and rice on the side were so fragrant.
This won’t be my last time!

As a Chinese, I must say the Peking duck here tastes nearly the same as the ones at home!!! It’s nice to get a bite of home while being in another country!! The house milkshake with orange pineapple and basil tastes pretty fresh. It’s a pity that i couldn’t get to taste the other things on the menu. Great place to dine in, a little bit pricy than the other local diners but it’s well worth the money for chinese food! And for those who care the hygiene, the bathroom here is very clean, outside settings hygiene is also very satisfying! Will recommend this place to friends! ????

I sit currently drinking an Iced Java Tea after eating a mammoth amount of their menu - The staff are friendly and only to happy to help with any questions you have.

Five visits to this place simply wasn’t enough during my trip to Bali.

The food is to die for really! A friend of mine found this place while walking around and had eaten here I think a few more times that I have but we keep coming back.

This visit with some of my other friends here has been filled with trips to cafes etc that are currently insta famous and the hot places to be but this place is a little gem and I hope to find it still open and going strong when I come back to Bali.

I miss a good Chinese BBQ. This place is exactly what I was looking for! The service and ambience is top notch. I have no words for how delicious the food is.

We opted for the Supreme 3 combination of BBQ meats as well as 1/2 Peking Duck with the pancakes. For two people, this sure is a lot of food! I am so happy I came here.

Food was really average, service ok. Had a bad stomachache after. Please be aware that they give away free drinks for five star reviews - thats cheating!
