Must do when in Bali. Show is roughly around and hour.
I would highly recommend seating 30 minutes before the show starts it gets very very busy and if your too late you won't get in.

I would say arrive 2 hours before, this gives you enough time to look round the temple and also get to see some of the amazing views.

The show itself was highly entertaining. The performers really went above and beyond.
For someone that didn't really know the story they were performing it was still a great show to watch and you can easily follow the story throughout the show.

While visiting do not take many loose belongings with you as the monkeys will steal them. They are not scared by the people at all.

As I said before definitely worth a trip to the fire dance show.

The temple is beautiful along the cliff. Give yourself 1-2 hours to walk through the paths along the cliff. 50RP entrance fee. Another 150RP fee to see the fire dance. Line to buy tickets is long. Show starts at 6pm. We got pretty good seats 530pm facing the water/sunset but already 70% full. They will keep jamming up the arena and filling up the walkway stairs. Crazy crowded. Bench seating is tight and uncomfortable.The show tells the story of love stolen and retrieved. The fire dance is a highlight but only a small portion of the 1 hour show. The first 15 minutes or so is filled with percussive chants by the seventy performers. A bit repetitive after awhile but gets much better with more story and action about 20 minutes in. Be sure to read the 1 page story handout. It'll put context to the characters and movements. The show is enjoyable and well receive by the crowd.

Great show, nice location, can be packed during the weekend. If you want good seats with sunset view make sure to be there at least 30 min before the show starts.
If you're on the outside of the stands you could climb down and sometimes the actors "behind the curtains" already take photos.
The show is very interesting and the actors know how to interact with the crowd to keep the engagement up.
Also visit Uluwatu Temple while being there. (Beware of the monkeys)

At first, i think just watch a dance and we have to pay 150K its Pricey. But when the show ended. All i can say is, its worthed every penny watch this Fire dance. Very entertaining!!

Come and make sure to watch this show if you have time to Visit Uluwatu Bali. The show starts on sunset. The show its self is one hour show..

Make sure to come earlier to get best seat. The gate open from 17.00pm

Absolutely must do if you’re visiting the Uluwatu temple. Key point, you have to line up at least around 4:30 pm or latest by 5 to get tickets for the show. Now this line is inside, so after you pay for the temple and get inside.

Show begins at 6 and arena is already packed by 5:30. Prep in advance, get good seats and it will be an unbelievable experience.

Will not spoil the show for you, but it’s one of the best.

Sunset was amazing. You need to be early to find seat for the sunset view. Performance wise, it was good but a bit disappointed because I thought they will do fire dancing ????. Performers were interacting to the audience, it was fun to watch.

Beware of the monkeys!!!! Encountered naughty monkey and took my spectacles, luckily vendor near the car park gave banana so the monkey let go of my ????. Almost cried ????

Must do in Bali! The sunset view is amazing. Be careful of your belongings, monkeys steal small things such as sunglasses or hat. I thought my three year old would be scared or bored but I was wrong. She enjoyed the show so much.
