I've stayed at RumahKu several times now and as a cheap option they're pretty good. The rooms are pretty good, large and fairly modern. The bathrooms are not so good, but they're acceptable. The landlord doesn't want to pay for hot water and thus there is none. The best you'll get is lukewarm. The location is hard to reach by car, and any transport you organise will need a lot of directions to find you. There are a fair amount of long term tenants here which is a good thing. The rooms do not contain safes or refrigerators, but they are air conditioned. There is no room service, only bed covers are provided, no towels or toiletries.

A really awful experience when leaving. The young staff were *very* nice during y stay, however the owner was here when I came to check out. She was very rude. She wasn't concerned that I had to clean out cockroaches out of my bedroom when I arrived by sweeping under my bed, that the wifi hardly worked during my stay or that there were period stains on my sheets. She said "tough" about the fact I hadn't been told about a daily rate that was double the rate I had been given. Even though I needed to check out early, she refused a refund and said it wasn't her problem. Expensive compared to other local homestays, electricity not included. Wouldn't recommend at all... when I told the owner that I would let other potential visitors know about this, she said "Ok, go ahead.." shrugged and walked away. I feel sorry for the staff as they are exceptionally nice people. The owner truly doesn't care.

I loved my stay there! The staff is absolutly nice, friendly, helpful and even more! Fitri and Agung are amazing! The place is clean, comfortable, well located and the people make the différence! I would highly recommand It!
Only, wifi is hardly working sometime.

Quite place but the cleaning is awful. Not even towels when we asked. The cleaner was coming just if I asked. Too expensive for what they offer. Doesn't worth it.

Good for staying, but not for resting or working. Hard to call this place as a peaceful place. Too crowded.

Quite place to rest and yet still close to all shopping places, restaurants and bars. Its close to airport and the beach too...Good price in one packaging !

All in all the room is okay, AC working well, the bathroom needs maintenance. The downside is only the location, it's located in the small alley.
