I love everything about this hostel! The room was spacious enough even tho it has 22 bunk beds. The Train room was always quiet (the quietest compared to Navy and Explorer room—always so noisy with the doors open somehow). Bed was super comfy with a blanket that smells really good. It also has a curtain for your privacy. The bathroom is cleaned a few times daily and never run out of soap, shampoo or tissue paper. They said they’ll change the towel daily, but they didn’t change mine on the second day. It wasn’t a problem for me cuz I only stayed there for 2 nights. The room was always cold with 2 aircons on. Might be too cold for some people but I personally liked it. You’ll get 2 lockers: 1 underneath your bed (super spacious) and a smaller one. Breakfast was ok and quite filling. Free drinking water at communal area as well. I didn’t try the pool cuz it’s too small and shallow (only 90 cm deep), but it looked clean. Location is perfect to go around Seminyak and only 15 mins by bike to Canggu through Batu Belig Street or Umalas. The staffs there were friendly and helpful, nothing to complain about. They can also help you to rent a scooter.

Stayed here for a few days and it was great! The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Great location as well, there are cafes and shops nearby. In your bedside there are USB outlets for charging so you don’t need to worry about getting a universal adapter. The people there are really friendly too! Overall will recommend this place to others!

Plus :
Very well situated, you can reach the beach in about 15 minutes by walk.
Good rooms, clean and comfy beds.
Common area peaceful and pretty, with a little pool.
Food was good there.
Good WiFi.

Cons:
A bit too cold in the rooms.
No free water.
Showers not very clean and no space to put your clothes and stuff.

Good ideas, poor execution:
1. They offer free wifi, which is good. However, not all rooms receive signals. And in those rooms that have signals, the system automatically kicks you out every so often, requiring you to manually log in twice each time.

2. Each room has a curtained dressing room. This is the first I have seen in hostels. Unfortunately, the curtain is black and attracts lots of mosquitoes.

3. The shower stalls have hooks for you to hang your clothes and towels while you shower. I wish they had installed hooks in the toilet stalls too so we could hang our stuff while we take care of business. The same for elsewhere in the bathroom.

4. The shower stalls have shampoo and bath soap. Unfortunately these smell like mold, and give the impression that they haven’t been touched in a long time despite the hostel being newly built in 2019.

5. They have a nice restaurant. Unfortunately no free drinking water.

The hostel was incredibly clean. Some of the best showers any hostel I’ve stayed in has offered. I felt very safe staying here. Only downside was not much atmosphere so if looking for a party place this wouldn’t be for you, however nice for some peace and privacy.

Very good stay at dgobers hostel. Big rooms, nice AC, toilets were more or less clean. Privacy is cool since it’s wooden boxes. Meeting people is easy there as well. It’s both appropriate if you wanna relax or meet people. Recommended.
