The D'Canggu Homestay provided probably what you'd expect for the price. At around AUD$23 for the night, we got what we paid for. The exterior is beautiful, especially the garden and pool communal areas. The building facade is also great but once you see the interior it starts to paint a different picture. Needless to say, the staff were lovely and will help with almost any request. For Bali on a budget this is a great option.

I really enjoyed my stay in D'canggu homestay. It is family run and the staff there are very friendly and willing to help you in any way that they can. The facilities were very good. The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to Batu Bolong beach

Good location and decent value for up to €15 per night, large rooms, large bed, decent view. Needs renovation, quite old and in disrepair with a superficial level of cleanliness that stops at the edges. No block out blinds. Stained walls. Hot water works half the time. Birds nesting in the hallways. Pillows lumpy. Have stayed in Canguu many times over the years, for this price range sometimes you're wow'd and other times not so.

Wow,, the place is comfortable, the rooms are clean, the toilet is in the upstairs room with open shower that is so beautiful. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. the price is cheap. only 5 minutes walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants.

We had room number 1, in the ground floor with nice view into the green garden.
In the room was a store what you can locker, that was good, but I think it’s not necessary.
We stayed there for 3 nights, they didn’t clean the room, so nobody was inside.
It’s good located not directly at the Main Street, so it’s very silent the whole time.
There’s also a laundry taking 15.000 RP per kilo.
Rooms close to the reception are not very good.

Clean rooms with a well functioning AC. Only gives you one kind of small blanket and nothing else to sleep under, kind of annoying when you are two people sleeping in the bed. The WiFi in our room were useless and only worked sporadically. The neighbors made a lot of noice and with the walls here it sounds like they were right next to us. But it's a place with good service close to the beach and a lot of great restaurants. They offer renting och Scooters, bikes, laundry services and more.
