Be VERY, very careful if you're attempting to cross Cemongkak Beach on foot coming from Bingin to the south and heading up to Dreamland, especially in the afternoon when tide can change quickly. I read about this walk on an otherwise informative blog and thought it would be a pleasant and easy stroll. From atop the cliff, it looks like there's sand straight across. In reality, most of the shore is rocky / full of coral and requires a lot of climbing to avoid being in the ocean. There's a point just at the northern tip of Cemongkak Beach before it turns into Dreamland that is essentially impassable (unless it is during low tide? Not sure, because my experience was in the afternoon). I'm very lucky that I came out okay, but I'd encourage anyone not to take the risk -- it's too dangerous in this particular area.

Fancy some alone time? This is perfect place. No warungs yet, so be prepared for picnic. You can also set up bbq here with some friends

Not so hidden beach between Bingin u0026 El Kabron. Just search El Kabron in google maps. And on the last turning (to El Kabron) you will find small paved alley that lead you to the beach. My favourite beach in Uluwatu. Quiet and private in the afternoon, usually a little bit crowded around sunset time. Perfect spot to get your tan and enjoy spectacular sunset after.
