This beautiful black sandy beach is decorated with temples for praying in the middle of the rocks. The place is very quiet decorated with coconut trees and enlivened by the sound of the waves. Equipped with a parking area and also local cafes/warung beautified with colorful pennant installed along the road beachfront which start selling before sunset.

I love this place before. Just for drink coffee and see sunset, cheap prices on local shops.

But 3 days ago when I went there with my husband, one of pecalang come and told us to pay 50k because my husband bring camera.

They said they made the rules 3 months ago. But we never never know about this. Because my husband always bring camera anywhere, and 1st time someone tell us about rules. We don't pay attention before.

I talked to Wayan, he said if someone bring camera that mean for commercial, and this is new rules on beaches areas, that's why we have to pay. Hah?

I argued, because we use normal camera not professional. The resolutions of phone cellular now same like LDSR also. You can't use camera on the landscape anymore, how come? Did someone will pay 50k everytime they go the beach? Doesn't make sense!

Because of those rules, maybe I will skip Cemagi beach. Sad. Because they care about your camera, not clean the place.

Very gothic coastline on a cloudy day, perfect place to let your imagination run free.

Super quiet non surfable beach in a beautiful village uncorrupted by tourists or foreigners quite yet.

Best quite beach for sunset!
Quite and secret vibe, recommended in workdays to relief stress and short escape!
Th beach is clean, dark/black sanded beach.
In weekends there are some local food and snack stands to enjoy in the beach with sunset.
The location is easily reachable, accessibility is good, but the stone steps is a bit high and difficult to reach, so people with kids must be careful.

Keep the beach clean, do not litter.
Highly recommended!

I use to go to this beach for years to take photographe of the sunset. But recently the village has closed the beach and now to enter with a camera you have to pay 4 $. Its a public beach and now the village has moneypolised it. So nope not recommended.

Black sand beach with quiet ambience. If you're looking for authentic beach and less touristy then this one is worth a visit.
