The work these guys do for the turtles is amazing and it only runs through donations so everyone should try to get there to help support them. We were lucky enough to release some turtles today and it was a highlight of the holiday. Thanks Mr Turtle

Unfortunately I saw a release in front of Legian hotel (very expensive hotel), where there was no care of the turtle release. Tourists were above them yelling and they were released between the legs of c.150 people and baby turtles were disoriented and kept going back instead of towards the sea. Please protect your natural treasures in Bali and money will come. Don’t sacrifice everything for tourism. Protect nature

One of our main highlights of our trip in Bali!! Keep an eye on their instagram page to see when’s the next release. You can release a baby turtle into the ocean along with hundreds of other babies. Truly memorable experience!! The activity is free but you can donate and order merch.

Definitely a must if your an animal lover or in the area. Really enjoyed releasing a baby sea turtle. That day 300 of them were released! Just keep an eye on their Facebook page as that’s where they announce it. It’s free, but of course you can donate. Tokens are given from 16:00, was a bit earlier in our case. They tell you how to release the baby turtle. So you get in line, get a baby sea turtle in a container with a bit of water and make your way to the beach. Everyone gets in line to get ready to start the sea turtle race. It’s so cute to see it.

Loved it! Really fun and meaningful thing to do that's unique to the place.

You'll need to get there immediately after the Facebook announcement to queue for a 'turtle ticket'. After that collect your turtle and head to the beach.

There'll be staff to guide you to where to stand to release the turtles, and you'll release it at their signal (after they clear the beach so your fella has a greater chance of getting out there!)

Great for kids, just careful not to drop the turtle, avoid touching the turtle and most of all, follow instructions! You want to save the turtle not hurt them!

Should be the no.1 thing to do here!

Great place to see baby seats turtles hatching and experiencing water for the first time.

You get to release them into the sea and watch as they swim off.

Great knowledgeable people here who volunteer, so be sure to leave a donation or buy something from the shop to help out a great cause!
