Balangan Paradise Hostel and Restaurant

Never ever stay here. I left my room for a couple hours one evening and came back to a flooded room due to a burst pipe. The staff was so unkind and not accommodating they blamed me and refused to refund me. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars worth of my belongings that got destroyed I merely asked to be reimbursed. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else for a couple dollars more.

The bath shower did not have a curtain rail and made a mess in the bathroom. The room was okay for the price. Air condition in the rooms doesn't work well. There are restaraunts on the beach within 10-15 minutes from the hotel. The price for the hotel was very good.

Amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. Its far from kuta and bali airport. But youll have to walk like 2 minutes to get to balangan beach. Its 3.5 kilometers from dreamland beach. Theres an awesome bar/restaurant called cafe la pasion about 2 kilometers awawy and some basic bars on the beach in addition to a restaurant on the beach. Theres a grocery justto the hostel. The room is good but the bathroom is a less than average. No hot water. The towels are old. I bought my own from a supermarket. Theres a bike rental next to the hostel. I rent a 110 cc bike for 70.000 rupias60.000 for the bike and 10.000 for a liter of gas. Very useful. The hostel is far from the town and noisy clubs but next to the beach. Its great for those who want to relax in a quiet place. If I had to choose, I would go there again for sure.

It's very cheap. The location of the hotel is pretty central. You'll drive for 15-20 minutes from the main street to reach this hotel. Exceptional services from the beginning to the end. You have to hang over the balcony facing the courtyard to get a decent connection. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a ‘superior double room’ which we felt was more of a ‘standard double’. When we arrived it looked as though the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The beach at the bottom of the street is beautiful, but other than the beach there isn’t much else to do in the area..

The beach is oke for surfing, but not for swimming, the sights are beautiful. The restaurant is medium and a little bit expensive. The hotel is very basic, the waiters are not very friendly and the transport seemed to be monopolized.

I would stay here again if I was in South Bali just because of the price of accommodation and location. The route to this hotel from the main street is far enough. The hostel is right by the beach, a small yet beautiful beach and perfect for surfing. Staff again were friendly.
