We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas with its own lap pool. It was bright and close to reasonable restaurants and shopping.
But, the remote batteries could have been checked and replaced, the broken tv could have been fixed, the tea and coffee supples could have been there and the internet could have worked.
Great place, but not as well maintained as it should be.

Stayed at studio deluxe
+ room is spacious
+ breakfast was good (they give some option not AYCE)

- hot water not running even after 2 days complaining (my day 1 complain status said they already fix it, yet still not working, did another complain, they said will do some follow up, yet til night there's no update, and til morning still there's no hot water, my poor 1yo have to shower early morning with hot water not running at all)
- if you're not into friendly people then night shift receptionist is your guy
- TV remote not working
- toilet flush keep running even if you're not using it
- beware of some mosquitoes and ants

Sorry but not gonna come back again.

Very nice spacious and clean. My aircon didn't work, I asked them to move me at 9pm, after thinking I'd give it time to cool the room, they moved me, no issue happened to be a better room with fantastic cooling. Great location and customer service too. Laundry facilities. In house wellness spa

In October 2015 AQ- VA was fantastic. Sparkling, vibrant, bustling, clean accommodation, clean main pool and clean villa pool, really lovely villa plus great food and bar. So in October 2019 we went back... To say it was disgusting is an understatement. Filthy main pool, hazardous, broken, slimy pavers, moldy walls all around the main pool with a bad, funky smell, empty bar, filthy ground and stained outdoor furniture plus terrible food, and that’s just the main part of the hotel. Our 4 bedroom villa (where we had stayed prior) was now absolutely horrific; saying it was just filthy would be too kind. We arrived to a slimy dark green, broken villa pool with an empty chip packet and cigarette butts floating in it. The pool furniture was now dirty and worn. A metal plate that could easily be moved covered a deep pool equipment pit (that area had previously been covered by outdoor furniture. They also hadn’t put the air conditioning on for us so it was boiling in the villa. And it just got worse from there. Filthy windows that we could hardly see through, floor with hair and fluff ALL OVER, a couple of used bandaids in a corner, mold ridden and soap scum covered bathrooms with countless mushrooms sprouting from the grout, filthy basins in every ensuite, pubic hair galore and disgustingly grimy toilets. Enough to make you vomit. The dust everywhere was so thick all over the villa that it was actually black. The walls are also all scuffed and deeply scratched, especially around the stairs. On our request the villa was cleaned but it looked no better after the supposed “thorough clean”. The workers admitted that they knew our villa pool was broken but hadn’t prepared it for our arrival. For a day they “tried” to fix it but then admitted they didn’t have the part and said the part wasn’t even in Bali and would take a week to arrive. We had booked for a week!!! The only good thing about AQ-VA is the location and the beds were actually clean. Thank goodness we could eat elsewhere (Niksoma was a saving grace for breakfast) and after one night we hightailed it out of that nightmare of a place, with no refund ever given. Such a complete disappointment that AQ-VA and their villas were not looked after as it had previously been so great.

I stayed for 2 nights there, private, neat,big and clean room, nice Pool. I love the room, so quiet. Walk about 1 minute to Main road and you will find out Souvenir shops, Restaurants and Cafes around there. The staffs so friendly, and the people stayed there was so nice, feels like they're my family.. Feels like home. overall was good. Thank you for the hospitality.

The pictures on booking and google are far from reality.

The furniture, the room and the bathroom would have had a complete renovation. Everything seemed very exhausted. A new toilet seat penny item, but they save on that.
There was a very dirty fridge in the room that was maybe 30 years old and we didn't understand how it got there.
The sofa was dirty in several places - pics attached.

We spoke to the receptionist, showed the problems and he said: You have chosen the mystery room. This answer is absolutely outrageous! (Does mystery room mean it's disgusting?)

We got another room but only the sofa was better.

Another problem, which only later we realized that it is very loud.

Early in the morning there is a loud noise in the hotel, and the glass doors that do not close properly allow all sounds.

Also, it is very warm in the room, which requires using the old dirty air conditioner at night, which is also very loud. We looked into the air conditioner and black from the dirt.

The hotel has good features: a very delicious breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows and a good location.

Thank you to the cooks, that the day is always started well.
